Team
Managing Director, Matt Spring, leads an exceptional team of property professionals who bring a wealth of expertise and energy to Vantage. With diverse backgrounds in the sector, they work together seamlessly to deliver outstanding results for our investors and assets.
Leadership
As Managing Director and owner, Matt is responsible for the overall operation of the business. This responsibility extends to overseeing all business lines, sourcing new acquisitions, managing debt for the assets, investor relations and equity raising. A large part of the role also encompasses managing the repositioning process of the assets so that they achieve their best use and generate the highest possible income and long term capital growth.
This requires stringent management with a focus on adding value through considered refurbishment programs, careful lease negotiations and strategic property management.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Business (Property) and has over 28 years experience in the Melbourne commercial, retail and industrial property scene.
He is particularly skilled at positioning a property for the next buyer and oversees this reposition process working in conjunction with Vantage’s in-house resources in asset services, project management and interior design.
Matt previously held roles with Teska Carson and CBRE and worked in property development.
Joseph is a Director – Business Advisory of William Buck, a leading national Accounting practice. Joseph has over 31 years’ experience in managing client affairs with a particular specialisation in corporate advisory board and family office functions. Joseph has represented many property related businesses, advising them on acquisitions, shareholder and joint venture agreements, corporate governance and commercial advice. His strong industry reputation, connections, and most importantly his core competency in governance, serves us and our investors very well.
Joseph holds a Masters in Tax and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting).
Carlo has over 24 years experience in branding and design and has developed an enormous portfolio of successful creative campaigns from brand identity to advertising, property marketing, packaging and corporate identity. Carlo has worked across a wide range of industry sectors, assisting organisations such as Nike, Adidas, The Westin Hotel, Holden, Fosters, Australand, Visit Victoria and Multiplex to enhance their competitive positioning and realise the potential of their brands. His role as Head of Design ensures that all Vantage projects uphold a sophisticated, intelligent creative style that continues to add measurable value in the marketplace.
Jason has 16 years of experience in design and construction across a range of industries. He has successfully overseen the completion of commercial, retail, education, exhibition/museum and residential projects throughout Australia.
Jason previously worked for Peregrine Corporation, Box Hill Institute and Vaughan Constructions where he was responsible for design management, contract administration, procurement, budget/cost control and planning.
In his role as Project Manager, he provides services in building refurbishments and integrated office fitouts from concept development to operational delivery.
