Matt is responsible for positioning Vantage’s property assets so that they achieve their best use and generate the highest possible income and/or long-term capital growth.
This requires stringent management with a focus on adding value through considered refurbishment programs, careful lease negotiations and strategic property management.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Business (Property) and has over 25 years experience in the Melbourne commercial, retail and industrial property scene.
He is particularly skilled at positioning a property for the next buyer and oversees this reposition process working in conjunction with Vantage’s in-house resources in asset services, project management and interior design.
Matt previously held roles with Teska Carson and CBRE and worked in property development.
Hamish’s key strengths and focus lie in equity raising, investor relations, acquisitions
and joint venture structuring across institutional and private capital. His focus is on uncovering acquisition opportunities and aligning them with capital partners in either a syndicated, joint venture or third-party management capacity.
Hamish holds a Bachelor of Business (Property) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.
He draws on his extensive knowledge of commercial development and funds management through more than 18 years in the Melbourne commercial, retail and industrial property markets.
Hamish previously worked for Macquarie Capital Funds and was responsible for overseeing a portfolio of commercial assets worth in excess of $350m across three states.
Alan has broad experience in accounting, tax, commercial and residential property, syndication and corporate governance.
Alan is also chairman of a professional property investment business that has placed almost $4 billion of residential property over 40 years . He is the responsible manager for an ASIC licensed entity managing 5 schemes .
His presence on the board further emphasises our diligent approach to best practice in all areas and our commitment to sound governance.
Jayson has a broad range of real estate experience having worked in the UK, Europe, Asia, America and more recently in Australia. Jayson expertise spans multiple asset classes, drawing his experience from managing large portfolios both in stabilised and development orientated stages. His recent experience was looking after a $1.2bn portfolio for a large US Fund Management business with assets based in Australia and Japan.
Jayson previously worked at QIC, TH Real Estate, Vicinity and KPMG and has over 20 years’ experience in asset management, he also holds a Bachelor of Business (Property).
Jason has 15 years of experience in design and construction across a range of industries. He has successfully overseen the completion of commercial, retail, education, exhibition/museum and residential projects throughout Australia.
Jason previously worked for Peregrine Corporation, Box Hill Institute and Vaughan Constructions where he was responsible for design management, contract administration, procurement, budget/cost control and planning
In his role as Project Manager, he provides services in building refurbishments and integrated office fitouts from concept development to operational delivery.
Chris is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years of professional experience with privately-owned and ASX listed groups operating in the real estate and funds management sectors including a 15 year career at Vicinity Centres. His track record includes successfully leading finance teams, capital transactions and business transformation programs.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) and Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.
